A Slow Day

Today was a slow day. I was slow and the birds were slow. I was slow because this morning all the good intentions I had of getting up early and getting some quail images failed. I awoke at six thirty and looked outside and saw that it was cloudy and promptly fell back asleep. Later on in the morning I worked on images and then I cleaned the house. By the time I made it out to the ranch it was about three thirty it was sunny and the wind was blowing. Birds don't like the wind and it makes them nervous around the feeder so it was rather slow going. Still I enjoyed my time in the blind until just after five thirty before heading home to make dinner with the family.
