This morning the dogs awoke me way too early. I dragged myself from my warm cozy bed and left Lenore sleeping to put them out. Standing there in the dark and cold while they went my mind cleared and I was up and alert. I couldn't go back to bed now! When I went back into the house and whipped up a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Just about the time the cookies needed to come out of the oven a beautiful sunrise appeared that just got better and better.

The middle picture of the sunrise is just gorgeous! It looks like a painting. Well, as does the bottom landscape as well! I certainly hope I can someday take photographs as beautiful as yours! I've got a long way to go and a lot to learn yet!

From flowers in the backyard to sunsets in your neighborhood God gives us opportunities to show his majesty at every turn.
