Jays and Squirrels
Here are a few more Steller's jays and Western Gray Squirrels form my backyard in Mendocino County, Northern California. They love to pose for the free seed! You can see that there is a lot less moss on the perch once the squirrels got into it. Their sharp claws just peel off the moss and lichens from the perch. We all had a great time. All images were created with a Canon 7D MkII and a Tamron 150-600 G2 lens. Camera was set in AV mode, ISO 800 at F 8.0 shutter speeds varied. I was using a ground pod with a Bogen 3055 ballhead to support the camera on our back bedroom window sill. #teamcanon, #tamron
