Hitchhiker

I had some brush cuttings in the back of my pick up that I was hauling away to dump. We stopped for lunch at the Dogghouse in Willits. Time for a commercial break here! They have a superb choice of a wide variety of delicious hot dogs. After devouring a "Kielbasa Dog", we returned to my pick up. Upon arrival we noticed a hitch hiking spider had made a web in the bed of my pick up. I grabbed my Canon 7D and a Tamron 180mm Macro lens and photographed it. It looks pretty cool! Floral Friday

I was down in the community garden photographing flowers this morning. On the return trip home I brought some columbines with me for Lenore. Before putting them in a vase I photographed three of the blossoms. First on a white and then a on black background. Which image do you prefer? I'm leaning towards the one photographed on the black for some reason. Maybe I did a better job of lighting it for that particular image. Have a great weekend. God bless, chris Both images were created with a Canon EOS 7D MKII camera and an EF-S 60mm macro lens. #teamcanon

Early in the Garden

This morning we did a photo shoot in the garden for a project that I'm working on with another artist. After we finished I grabbed a macro lens and went in search of interesting subjects to photograph. Here are a few of my favorites. All photographed with a Canon EOS 7D MkII camera and a Tamron 180mm macro lens. What a delightful way to start the day. God's blessings upon yours, chris #teamcanon, #withmytamron
