The Mendocino Mountain Range lies to the east of where I live. So my morning sunrise view is over these mountains. This range is a part of what is called the the Coastal Range here in Northern California.
This morning dawned with the sun peering through a narrow crack just above the mountaintops. The clouds quickly moved in and sealed it shut leaving it overcast all day long. Just about a half an hour ago it has begun clearing. It should make for a wonderful sunset over the Pacific.
