Second Verse Same as the First
This will be the last set of bathing birds I will post for awhile. This is the second set of images from yesterday's outing outing to the Little lake Valley in Northern California. The soft morning lighting was just superb. There were Golden Crowned Sparrows, Dark eyed Juncos, Goldfinches and Scrub Jays coming to bathe in abundance. I had a beautiful morning photographing the birds.
All images were created with a Canon EOS 7D and a Canon 100-400 IS lens. Camera settings used- AV mode,ISO 800,F5.6,shutter speed varied. A Manfotto 055XB tripod and a Bogen 3055 ballhead was used to support the camera. If you are interested in learning how to create images like these please check out my new book Secrets of Backyard Bird Photography. The book is the perfect Christmas gift for someone wanting to learn backyard bird photography. http://www.amazon.com/Secrets-Backyard-Photography-Chris-Hansen/dp/1937538559 God's precious light and love to all, chris
