Marvelous Moths
Living in the forest there are a lot of insects. At night if we leave a porch light on moths of an incredible variety start fluttering around it. Last night I left the light on just to see what could be found around it in the morning. This morning there was quite the gathering. Have you ever taken a really close look at a moth before? I grabbed my macro lens to find out. They are really cool close up. Thier eyes are a lot bigger that you would expect them to be too.The muted patterns and subtle colors of the wings are pretty amazing too. Some pretty cool little creatures.
God's blessings to all,
chris

ReplyDeleteBye
Thank you, Carolina.
DeleteThose are amazing. The first picture almost looks to be photoshopped because you really would not expect their eyes to be so intense. Great work, I look forward to seeing more. I am a beginning blogger which high hopes and am hoping to gain knowledge and experience from others in the blog world!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, Robyn. I wish you success with your blog.
DeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dulce Morais!
DeleteI like the way you look to these nature beings. They're all around but one must have the eye.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Claudia Lyrio. It's true you have to look for those special things that are commonly all around us.
DeleteFar be it for an old fart like me to tell you what to do, but..... why not widen your settings so that the text covers a wider area? This will also enable you to make the images bigger. You can use the extra large setting and have nice big pictures displayed on your blog.
ReplyDeleteThat'll be $20.
Cheers
Cav
