Learned Something New

I love to learn new things. Today Jay and I were digging for some new steps in the backyard. He found an earthworm all twisted and tangled up into a tight ball. I immediately told my son Jay,"I've got to photograph this. This is just too cool". While I was photographing it Jay Googled "twisted worms". What he found out was that during the dry season worms ball up to conserve moisture. It's like a form of hybernation to make it through the dry rainless period of summer in California it is called aestivating. Some more interesting information for my brain to know and forget. Very cool. God's light and love to all, chris

  6. Hi Chris,

Nice to meet you! I stumbled upon your blog in blogs of note from Google. When I clicked on it, I was pleasantly surprised by your photos and to learn that you are a follower of Christ. I, too, am a follower of Christ. I'm an amateur photographer but love the art. I have a photography blog and devotional writing blog. Please visit my photo blog and check out my nature photos at Lights! Camera! Action! I invite you to visit my devotional writing blog at Walking With God.

I haven't had the nerve to capture bugs and creepy crawly things and such but I do my fair share of capturing God's creation. I'm going to become a follower of your blog in a few seconds.

    Blessings,
    Judy
