Sentinel Oak
Got a short break in the weather today. One that gave me enough time for a short drive through the Little Lake Valley this morning after my work out. Only one thing really caught my eye this morning except for the one thing I missed later. I spied an Oak Tree on the P/6 Ranch that caught my attention. I have been wanting to photograph it for some time and I just couldn't quite get it in the right light or angle that I wanted. Today the pieces fell into place and I created a few images of it. Later on in the north end of the valley when I wasn't paying any attention I spooked up a flock of over fifty Mourning Doves that were sitting right next to the road. I haven't seen a flock that big since I was young. Too slow to capture it with my camera but a beautiful sight to see.
God's love and blessings to all,
chris

Love your texture. :o)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Melodee. It's something I have been adding to my images now and then when I think it's appropriate.
