I have been woefully neglect in keeping up the bird boxes on our property. For the past few days I have been attempting to rectify that situation by building some more nesting boxes. Hopefully I can get the family to help me in putting some of them up before the storms hit this next week. I built eight owl boxes and about fourteen small bird boxes. I have enough lumber left to still build about a dozen more small bird boxes. Hopefully this will have a positive impact on the numbers of small birds we have around here.
