Tired of Finches?

If you aren't tired of finches I am. For some reason they seem to be dominating the feeder that I have set up on the Burris Ranch in the Little Lake Valley. For those of you new to my blog that is the valley close to where I live up in the redwoods of Northern California.



This morning I was actually happy to have two birds come to my feeder that I'm normally not happy to see as they are so common. I rarely photograph them because of that reason. They are easy to find and photograph.So it was a nice change to photograph a Brewers Blackbird and a Scrub Jay when they stopped by the feeder for a snack.
