The Current Theme Seems to Be Rain!

Once again we awoke to the sound of steady rain on the roof top. This should be keeping kayakers from all over Northern California happy. The rivers will be flowing well into the summer. After a run downtown to pick up some milk and a prescription I'm content to sit at the computer and work on some images from over the weekend. B+W or Color?

I'm not a street photographer but every once in awhile I'll capture and image that would fall into the category of street photography. While photographing last weekend I created this image on the spur of the moment. I loved the juxtaposition of the man hurrying across the street against the gaze of the mannequins in the window display. It's almost as if he is fleeing from them. Rush of City Life

Sometimes I just want to record my abstract impressions. Today I spent some time going over some of the images from last weekend in San Francisco. One image that really jumped out at me was this one of a bicyclist riding down the street on the edge of China Town. It symbolized the rush of the big city.
