Tiny Bit More Rain

It was gray all day today mixed with some scattered rain showers. I did my shopping this morning and then made another batch of Peppermint Toffeee. Tonight just before midnight I photographed a few Christmas ornaments. I loved the red out of focus bokeh that this lens gives. God's love and blessings to all, chris Image created with a Canon 7D and a Canon 85mm F 1.8 lens.ISO 400,AV mode F 2.0, Manfrotto 055PROBX tripod with a Bogen 3055 heavy duty ballhead.

This is What They Looked Like

Last week we decided to clean out the Christmas storage area in our house. Amidst the sorting, disposing and giving away I found this lone red Christmas bulb from long, long ago. Yes, this is what Christmas bulbs used to look like before the invention of L.E.D lights. I'm not sure if it was a spare bub or one that was part of a string. I'll never know. It is just a bit of history, a distant memory of Christmas past. God's light and love to all, chris
