Playing With Light

Today was a very busy day with no photography until tonight. Time just seemed to vanish. Does that happen to you? I was off to a late start today and by the time I finished my work out at the gym it was almost eleven thirty. This afternoon I worked on a new bird set up for increasing my chances at capturing a nice quail image. We will see how that works as there is rain in the forecast for tomorrow. Tonight I decided to experiment more with playing with light.I set my camera up on a tripod and prefocused on the spot where I was going to be. I set the camera on thirty second shutter delay with a thirty second exposure. I tripped the shutter and then scurried out to my spot and started swinging the light.
