Join the Chorus
This has been one weird winter. We have gone from heavy rains and howling winds to warm spring like weather. It was in the low seventies yesterday. Not exactly winter time weather. We are doing a lot of yard work taking advantage of beautiful conditions. It's going to be interesting because we typically tend to get the most snow in March! While cleaning up in the backyard I came across this Pacific Chorus Frog. They used to be known as a Pacific Tree Frog. I created quite a few images of it but this one was my favorite because it really showed off the pads on its front feet which they use in climbing. The pads stick to most any surface including glass. Each night of late we are audience to a small chorus in the backyard as they are starting to breed in our little backyard pond. Please enjoy this little creature. God's love and blessings, chris

Touch of Rainy Weather
The past four days have had weather to stay inside and sit by the fire. We ventured out a few times to buy groceries and what not but mostly we have stayed indoors. It has given me some time to edit images and just look out on the changing shades of gray with fleeting glimpses of the valley below. Here is the view today of the Madrone Tree outside my office window today plus a few Chipmunk images that were taken last week before the rain started in earnest.
God's light and love to all,
chris

Rainy Day Red

The rains are finally returning which creates its own photographic challenges with the gray gloomier weather. I look for bold colors which stand out and are saturated by the bright colors or I just go with it and find misty, foggy and dark scenes. Today I went with the former and found a bright delivery truck dropping off beverages at a local market.I also photographed some bright lights reflecting off of the pavement in the rain. When I got home I had some fun in Photoshop combining them into one colorful image. I think they look pretty cool together. Enjoy the rain when it comes your way.
God bless,
chris
