Badger the Wonder Dog
I had planned on doing some feeder photography in the backyard today but the rain was way too strong and the wind was howling. Instead I grabbed a wooden back drop and two continuos LED light panels. I set them up to photograph Badger the Wonder Dog. He was more than willing to cooperate for a treat. God's love and blessings to all, chris This image was created with a Canon 7D MkII camera and a Canon 100-400 L IS USM v.1 lens at 108mm.

Rainy Days Ahead
It has been rainy. The weather has been bouncing back and forth between sunshine and rain. This morning it was clear in the morning before gray ragged clouds covered the sky. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain again. Here are some images from the past few days.

All images were created with a Canon 7D MkII and a Canon 100-400 IS V. 1 lens. #TeamCanon God's love and blessings to everyone, chris

Stay in Bed Kind of Day
Badger the Wonder Dog has the right idea. It's a stay in bed under the covers kind of day. It's gray, cold and drizzling out there. God's love and blessings upon your week, chris

Trailside
Thank you Lord for the rains. It has rained off and on for the last few days. During one of the breaks the sun came out and I went for a short trail walk up Willits Creek. Along the side of the trail I noticed these three Big Leaf Maple leaves lying side by side. Such a simple and beautiful sign of fall. God's blessings upon your weekend, chris

Angel's Breath
This morning when I awoke the sun was shining bright and sunny on the foggy valley below. A few minutes later the fog flowed in from the coast slowly covering the trees in the forest around our house. I grabbed my camera and ran out the front door. I headed for my favorite tree just off the end of our driveway. It's a gnarled old Tan Oak tree with one wide branch coming off the side fairly close to the ground. It's covered in lichen and moss and makes a great subject to photograph. I composed a variety of images of it from a couple of different spots. After I went back into the house and processed the images this one stood out as my favorite. God's blessings upon your week, chris

Chaos
There is some order among chaos if you look for the patterns that help to make it up. Such is the case of sorting silverware in the morning from the dishwasher. You look for the patterns to tell the cutlery apart. The rounded curves of the spoons and the long straight edges of the knives. The forks stand out with their evenly measured tines. There is chaos but order is hidden within it. Here is a Black and White image of our silverware waiting to be sorted and put away in the silverware drawer. God's precious love and blessings upon your day, chris

Portrait of Badger the Wonder Dog
I always love to see Badger the Wonder Dog when he is looking longingly through the front gate. Yesterday morning I grabbed some treats and went outside the gate. I set and my tripod and waited. Badger immediately came to the gate. He wanted those treats really bad! He was rewarded with some treats after I photographed him. I love the look he was giving me!
