Squirrel,Bird and Sunset

I got off to a really late start this morning spending a leisurely morning indoors. It ended up being a beautiful day. This afternoon I did a little bit of photography in the backyard photoblind. I spent some time photographing a Douglas Tree Squirrel and a Dark Eyed Junco. Today concluded with watching a colorful sunset over the Pacific. God bless, chris

  1. The sunset is gorgeous! This and flowers are my favorite things to snap. Have you noticed that the sun seems to set quite slowly until a certain point, then it sinks like a stone...fast! Not giving us too much time at the end for many photos.

    1. It really makes it hard to catch the green flash as well. I thought I finally captured it tonight but my fingers must have been a fraction too slow. One of my fellow photographers on FB caught it really well a couple of nights back.
