They Love Those Free nuts

Yesterday afternoon I had about an hour free before I went to pick up Lenore and Annika. I grabbed a few walnuts and my camera headed to the photoblind in the backyard. I was once again hoping to capture some images of the elusive Mountain Quail. The walnuts were part of my back up plan in case the quail didn't show up.I'm glad I had a plan "B"because I ended up using it for the quail never showed up. I was treated to performance of watching a Douglas Tree Squirrel gather up the walnuts one by one and run off to hide them somewhere in the forest. I had a good time and I know the squirrel did too. God's love and blessings to all, chris

  1. You must have taken many pictures, but I am sure you chose the best three of them all. I love the pose in this last one, so funny!
