This morning my plans were to photograph a Steller's Jay on a nice green background. I got out early to the photoblind and I sat and waited and waited. Not a single Steller's Jay came any where near my bird feeders. Not a single one. That in itself is pretty unusual because they one of the most common birds in the area where I live. Instead of a Steller's Jay I photographed a Chestnut Backed Chickadee as my substitute bird. I'm quite happy with how the image worked out.

Nope Not a Steller's Jay
This morning my plans were to photograph a Steller's Jay on a nice green background. I got out early to the photoblind and I sat and waited and waited.
