Simple Image for a Spinning Mind

Even before getting out of bed this morning my mind was already spinning with ideas on how to make the final push to clean up our cluttered office space. As many of you know when we put in new flooring in our house the office became the storage space for most anything that was in the way. Adding that to all of the odds and ends of my photography gear made quite the mess. So with my mind going at 100 miles per hour I came downstairs this morning to make myself a cup of PG Tips Tea to start the day. As soon as the water started boiling in the tea kettle I spotted a shaft of light shining through the steam and I thought that it looked pretty cool. I grabbed my camera propped my self on my elbows and made a variety of images of it. This one ended up being my favorite. I tightened up the composition and focused on the most important thing that caught my eye in the first place. Just the simple steam. God's love and blessings upon your day, chris Canon 7D MkII and a handheld Canon EF-S17-85mm f 4-5.6 IS USM lens. AV mode, ISO 800, F 5.6 at 1/6th of a sec.#TeamCanon
